Alice is an archaeologist leading excavations in the tiny, little known republic of Nunquam. Her team has unearthed the ruins of a previously unknown ancient people called the Maytruscans. To Alice’s delight, her team discovers a number of objects bearing inscriptions in the Maytruscan language.

The Maytruscan language is unusually austere. It contains only four letters: §, ≡, ♥, and þ.  But simple though its alphabet may be, Maytruscan is still a tough nut to crack!
